I received this game for Christmas, having considered buying it earlier in the year, and have been very pleased with it so far. The game seems very well thought out with many different features, one of the best of these has to be the road to WRC. This lets you run a team, earn sponsorship and manage research amongst other things.
The driving side of the game is very realistic allowing you to throw the car into a drift, catch it and fly around the corner with consummate ease. The graphics are also very good, showing every little detail of the car, road and background. Another great feature is head to head, one at a time racing for everyone in the room to have a go at each stage. In our family this is a great laugh as you get to see everyone barrel roll and crash the car.
Overall WRC2 is a very good game with decent graphics, sound quality and driving experiences as well, bring on the next one!
Just as a footnote I would have to say that this is a vast improvement over the old game we used to play on the PS2, my only complaint being that now Connor is older he seems to be able to beat me far more easily, grrr.
We've found rallying games to be a real laugh for the family - especially the ones that show the damage accumulating on the car. It's hard enough to drive one of these things in-game without having everyone around you shouting "there goes the bonnet!" - and if it does a stage replay as well, that's even better.
